Position Summary:

The Sales Associate will sell and produce HMS booth rentals to exhibitors on Hargrove shows, facilitate all pricing and production of hotel tradeshows and all non-trade show exhibitor related requests from clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Identifying, prospecting and selling new business to achieve assigned revenue and profit targets.

Provide client prices quotes for these requested services.

Provide written proposals to clients and offer upgraded services to existing clients when applicable.

Generate work orders, graphic orders and purchase orders necessary to produce all sold business.

Travel to shows when necessary to oversee production and ensure client satisfaction with the equipment and services provided by Hargrove.

Telemarketing to exhibitors on upcoming shows to increase revenue.

Generate invoice for services rendered.

Update Marketing Database.

Skill and Educational Requirements:

Candidate must have High School Diploma or GED. One year of sales or trade show experience is a plus.

The following skill set is essential to this position:

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Detail oriented

Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and prioritize tasks effectively

High degree of independent thinking

Ability to make decisions effectively, timely and efficiently

Above average accounting skills

Advance computer skills (hardware and software)

This is a non-exempt position; salary is commensurate with education and experience. A commission structure is also in place for sales exceeding established goals.

Inter-relationships:
This person interfaces regularly with other departments. Additionally, this person will have contact with clients throughout the sales process.

Work Schedule and Conditions:
Office hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. Weekend and evening hours may be required. The individual may also be required to travel. The onsite environment may be less than optimal working conditions (dusty, noisy, exposure to the weather including extreme hot and cold temperatures, etc.) and may require many hours (8-12) on your feet.

Physical Demands:
The individual must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time (8-12 hours).
